Samsung’s highly anticipated second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year is poised to take place in Paris this July, just ahead of the Olympics. At this event, tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the debut of Samsung’s latest innovations, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldable smartphones, alongside the new Samsung Galaxy Watch and Samsung Galaxy Buds earphones. The anticipation surrounding these devices has ignited speculation within the tech community, particularly regarding folding phones, which are currently captivating attention in tech circles.

A notable revelation from renowned tipster iUniverse sheds light on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6’s enhanced design. iUniverse recently shared a tantalizing image of a section of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6’s outer screen on X (formerly Twitter). While the image doesn’t unveil the entire device, it offers a glimpse of symmetrical bezels adorning the display cover. Reports suggest that Samsung has opted to expand the screen ratio of the outer display, aiming to optimize usability when unfolding the phone. However, it appears that this wider display may not precisely align with the dimensions of competitors such as the Google Pixel Fold or OnePlus Open.

Furthermore, iUniverse addressed queries from X users, confirming that only one model of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be unveiled this year. Speculation regarding the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra’s release suggests it may take more time to reach the market. Rumors also swirl around an affordable Samsung Galaxy Z Fold FE variant and a slim Galaxy Z Fold model in development. However, the veracity of this information remains uncertain, as it would pose challenges for Samsung to distinguish between these purported additional Fold models. Nevertheless, enthusiasts can anticipate further details about the standard Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 to emerge soon, heightening excitement for its impending launch.
