In a recent interview, Xiaomi brand president Lu Weibing announced that the Mi Mix Fold 3 will be launched in the Chinese market in August. Let me tell you, the device has already been spotted on the ‘Compulsory Certification of China’ aka CCC or 3C certification website. Besides, a higher model belonging to the Xiaomi Pad 6 series has also been listed on the Bluetooth SIG site with Halfil 3C. However, a separate launch event may be organized for the two devices in question. In this regard, Xiaomi on their official MIUI (MIUI) server page has already given information about the software for the 3rd generation foldable smartphone and the Xiaomi Pad 6 series ‘Max’ model.
The upcoming Mi Mix Fold 3 smartphone has been codenamed ‘Babylon’. It will run on the latest Android 13 based FOLD 14.1 custom MEAUI OS skin. The internal MIUI build version of the device is MIUI-V14.1.1.0.TMVCNXM.

Incidentally, an earlier report claimed that the Mi Mix Fold 3 foldable handset will feature a quad rear camera setup. Xiaomi might bring this device with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 primary flagship sensor. And as an auxiliary camera – an ultra-wide angle secondary lens, a telephoto sensor and a periscope shooter can be offered. Besides, there may be an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
